2012
SUPPLYING THE VIBE
So the business was pretty accidental if we're honest. It all started around about 2012 with our owner Rhys (hence the Rhys in Irrhysistible), mixing drinks in plastic boxes, buckets, pots or anything big enough to fit as much in as possible in. It really started the parties, bbq's and even holidays but it also ended some too.
2020
LOCKDOWN PROJECT
During lockdown 2020 a batch was made and after posting on social media and a few people asked for a sample which resulted in over 50 people getting one. Due to the power of social media people were asking for more samples and to order.
So then a name and a logo was created, then the kegs and stickers were ordered and the process started.
MAY 2021
BRANTLEY AVENUE
We then realised how much needed to be done to make this a legitimate business which resulted in having to get our shop, build a counter, buy the equipment and the relevant licenses.
JULY 2021
THE BIRTH
Unfortunately after everything we were forced to rebrand which resulted in a loss of signage, clothing, labels and trademarking but it was necessary to get the business over the line. Here is where Irrhysistible Drinks was born.
During our first year we have gone from strength to strength. We have reached over 4000 social media followers, customers that have turned into friends, delivering at a radius of 10 miles from the shop via our website, UberEats or Deliveroo, Collaborations with local musicians such as Sophielouu, Reepa Of Wolves & Grim Sickers, covering festivals and events from Wolverhampton to Cheshire with a capacity of 20,000 people, shipped drinks as far as Australia. We still feel as if this is us just warming up.
JULY 2022
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US
To celebrate a year of Irrhysistible Drinks, we held a black & red themed party in Wolverhampton which was a great success. We drank (obviously our drinks), laughed, danced, sung until the night was over. Pictures of the night are on our gallery.
SEPTEMBER 2022
WHOLESALE
September 2022 we recieved our alcohol wholesale license which allowed us to sell to licensed businesses such as pubs, clubs, bars and sporting venues. As of February 2023 we stock 15 premises. These can be found on our stockist page.
